Jim and TereTN ~1993 Breakaway
Still for sale. Have some folks from Alabama coming Wednesday to look at it. I spent some time underneath yesterday and this thing is very nice. There is almost no rust of any kind any where. Even the 1" tubing that holds the storage compartments is pristine. Thinking I need to keep it. A his and hers. Tere can drive the Regal and I can drive the Breakaway to events. Then if either has a problem the other has a ride.

I think taking ONE and the Tracker will take care of that.

Jim and TereBut, which one to take?
Besides, we just discovered that the '96 Cavalier can be flat towed(read get rid of that darn dolly) and since I think it's a piece of junk, maybe we would have to have two toads, one a miserable Cavalier and the other a decent Tracker. So now we have two Barths, two toads, and peace and quiet.

Russ DJim what is the mileage? If anything needed looking at, what would it be ?
11-08-2013, 08:33 AM
Jim and TereRuss D, the mileage is 66102. When I drove it over from Denver the only thing I needed to attend to was a vibration in the rear wheels. Had them balanced. No vibration now. Also replaced the speedometer sensor. As far as I know, everything works. I have not driven it much since August, just up to the wheel balancing shop, and around town to give it some exercise. There is not a lot of history on maintenance. The serpentine belt was changed before I left Denver. I will probably start to go through the fluids if I keep it much longer. Things like oil changes, radiator flushing, transmission flushing. There are no problems with overheating, or the transmission. I replaced a few short plumbing lines.

Russ DThanks for the info and follow up.Have you owned it long ? It looks really nice. Class A's are new to me, we've always used a travel trailer but in the later years I have wanted to move up to something a little nicer.I like the idea of the aluminum body.I am a little concerned about all the things that can be wrong with a 90s motorhome. I have to say it sounds like you have went the extra mile in keeping it up.
