Lake Powell or Bust! that just might be a bad choice of words
Leaving September 14 for a nonstop run across country to Bullfrog marina to spend a week boating on lake Powell. Then just roaming the West for a few weeks after that.

The Barth is getting a new home in Scottsdale while the Boss and I move to Hawaii for a while. Any suggestions for stops while were out that way we love to hear them.

Walnut Canyon in Flagstaff, any number of ruins etc. on the way from Phoenix up or if going the other way down. Cottonwood Canyon, there are tons of things in that area. When I first went there in my 30's my impression was there were more things to see than one could in a few years.
If your in Flag eat at the Horseman's.

Don in Niagara
Winslow, the meteor crater and Petrified Forest National Park are all in N. Arizona. Then drop on down to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon and while in the area Jerome is worth a visit.
It's still plenty warm in Scottsdale in September.
Have fun!

There are too many. Maybe Bryce Canyon and Moab in Utah? Or if you like stuff like Casinos a trip to Laughlin NV along the Colorado River.
