Our trip to and from the WOG rally will be a little different this year .
We'll start out traveling to Pineville Louisiana today to visit a Tropical Smoothie Cafe that my sister and brother-in-law just opened yesterday . This is their fourth location to open and the businesses are doing great . We are going by there for lunch and congratulate them . From there we'll travel to Vidalia Louisiana and spend the night at River View RV Resort.
Tomorrow we'll make our way up the Natchez Trace Parkway I-20 then over to Roosevelt State Park just east of Jackson Mississippi .
Friday morning we'll drive to Demopolis Alabama and stay at Foscue Creek COE campground until Monday the 16th . The morning of the 16th we start our last leg to Pine Mountain where we will stay until Monday the 23rd . When we leave Pine Mountain we are traveling to Huntsville Alabama to stay one night . On the 24th we'll travel to Pasquo Tennessee and catch the Natchez Trace Parkway and head south to Jackson Mississippi making it home by Friday the 27th .

At the end of this trip we will have driven nearly all of the Natchez Trace and logged a little over 1600 miles . Sounds like it will be a great trip .

The first day of this trip it rained on us all day , so the freshly washed coach , Jeep and trailer are now coated in road grit Frowner . Other than the rain , everything went smooth .
The second day was very nice . Overcast and high temperature in the mid 70's . The drive up the Natchez Trace Parkway was really nice . We made one stop at Rocky Springs Campground and made lunch .
Today is day three and we leave Roosevelt State Park in Morton Mississippi and head over to Foscue Creek COE campground in Demopolis Alabama .

Looking forward to a beautiful day of Tooling Along .

WOW surprised to see a jeep being pulled on a trailer. Other wise great looking coach. Been thinking about repainting our Barth white.

The trailer does add a little more load , but has lots of advantages . It gives us extra storage capacity and the ability to back up . Also , with some of the more difficult off-road trails it gives us a way to transport a Jeep home if one of us has a mechanical failure .

We arrived at Foscue Creek COE campground Friday just after lunch. We've enjoyed our stay here and today we head out for Pine Mountain Georgia .

Yesterday we rolled into Pine Mountain RV Resort in Pine Mountain Georgia for the annual Wonderlodge Owners Group Rally . It's a little cool at 42 degrees this morning . The weather should be nice this week with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60's and lower 70's . Looking forward to visiting with old friends and meeting new ones . Should be around 135 coaches here by tomorrow .Smiler

Tonight we are staying at the NASA Space Camp RV Campground in Huntsville Alabama . It was a nice mostly uneventful drive up from Pine Mountain Georgia.

Tuesday night we stayed at Laurel Hill Trail and Camp rv park . Gravel sites 30 amp and a couple 50 amp and water , with a super nice accommodating owner. They have horse stalls and provide guided trail rides . Sorry , I forget to get a picture Eeker.

Last night we stayed in Williamsville Mississippi at Countryside RV Park . Gravel RV spots in a field on a farm with 50 amp service and full hookups . We were too long for the back in spots with the car hauler, but we were able to park in the grass since it's been so dry here . Super friendly folks running this campground , very accommodating .Today we finish our journey down the Natchez Trace Parkway and make our way home . It's been a wonderful trip with beautiful Autumn colors in the trees . Thumbs Up

Safely home and the Family Truckster is cozy under the shed .
It was 16 days and approximately 1800 miles . The Natchez Trace Parkway was beautiful with colorful leaves . The Barth handled the trip without any issues Smiler

Already planning the next trip hmm

Happy Motoring Tooling Along
