Just had the pleasure of staying at the 81 Palms RV Resort on IH-10 in Deming New Mexico. Can't rate this any higher - large pull throughs, free wifi and an indoor pool and spa. A great surprise on a long day trip. They have a library, exercise rooms, spotless facilities and a large laundry, and are very courteous. They only take cash or a check but for $27.00 who needs anything else. You sky watchers will love the clear cool evenings and the great treatment. Add to your list when traveling IH-10.

Tom I used to get really good Mexican food in Deming, but can't remember the name of the place.

Any experience? I will be through there is a coupla months, I think.

Rockhound State Park just south of Deming is an interesting boondocking site (at least it was 20 years ago when I was last there).
