We just got back from a trip to south Florida, had a wonderful time. We traveled in my 1976 27 ft Barth. We were in FL for about two months. We started our trip from North Central Indiana.
The Barth performed really well, the only problem we had was my own fault, I replaced all hoses before we left and one of the heater hoses rubbed the side and developed a leak so I had to replace it.
We traveled over 4000 miles in a 30 year old
Barth and I'm ready to do it again , We love this old rv, proud of it.
All of you guys out there with these older
Barths don't be afraid to take them out on the road, thats what they are made for. You don't have to spend a lot of money updating them, just belts, hoses and normal maintance stuff.
When you're in the campground the Barth always get all the attention.
We saw two other Barths one in Mexico Beach FL. and one in Cullman AL.

I like that attitude. Just replace a couple of things that make sense. Change fluids and enjoy. Sounds like you had a great time. Looking forward to hearing about more "Barthing Around" adventures.
