Introducing Nelson!
I usually don't post pictures of my pets here, but many of you had met Maggie and Casey. Sadly, I had to put Maggie down a few days ago... she had been deteriorating over the past few weeks.

So Casey and I made a list of available Goldens, but never made it past the first stop, where Casey and [unnamed puppy] took to each other after enjoying mutual butt aromas.

Oddly enough, they share the same birthday, 6/20!

Here's the little guy, who's made himself right at home:

Nelson and Chester, not-spoiled Golden Retrievers

In either case the idea is quite staggering.

In the chatroom, we're debating that right now. The leading contender, from Casey and me, is "Nelson", but we're getting some great suggestions!

If you are a golfer, Bogey is great. Or a friend has a Lab named Moses which I like very much.

I lost my 12 year old Lab, Duffer, about two months ago. He was EXCEPTIONAL. We had 12 good years and one not so good month. Over the years my family has had eight Labs....... each one different, but good.

.......how-about a little more upbeat like Eagle or Ace, because as a puppy if he finds your slippers he will chew a "hole in one" hehe. Whatever you call him I hope he remains a healthy, loving buddy to you and Casey for a long, long time.
