I guess there might be some Red Sox fans who don't appreciate my gloating, but you've had yours, now we get a shot at it. Unbelievable, but true. Any Philly phans out there? I feel like a ten year old kid again listening to the Tigers make it all the way on my crystal radio, except now I have a 37" Hi Def flat screen to watch it on.

Whoa! I'm only 53! Till Wednesday at least.
Following the lead of what the gov'ners usually do, I'll put up a box of Florida oranges to whatever you're proud of up there. [ a few pounds of Penn venison would work just fine!]

GAME ON! Not sure how many people of Polish descent are in the Philly area, but one thing I really miss and can't get down here is really good Keilbasa. Grocery store stuff just doesn't cut it when you grew up with the fresh stuff from the local market.

I wonder... How many PA/FL Snowbirds are torn between the two teams?

What about the people in Clearwater, Fl? The Phillies have trained for years in Clearwater and they have a very strong, local following. Which, oddly enough, is a short drive from the Rays’ home in St. Petersburg.

Thanz Bill for your phone call. The first game was on TV last night (Phillies won) and the stands had a great deal of Phila. fans, some local, some x-plants and some even flew down for the game. I guess Bill NY doesn't read all those stray postings that get mis-sent to him, because in everyone I sent I always said what a wonderful guy he must be and what a fantastic job he is doing for Barthers and how much of an honor it would be for me to sometime meet him. You would think it would be very difficult for him to not comment. I saw a picture of him @ the choo-choo thing and If I were "that way" I would really want to meet such a stud. (this is where I would put one of those little laughing faces if I knew how) have fun!
