Can't Chat
I can go anywhere I want on the Barthmobile website. But, when I go to the chat room Internet Explorer shuts down. Frowner

I tried going there on Jeff's computer and the same thing happens, anyone else having this problem? I miss talking to everyone and have a ton of catching up to do.

McAfee, up to date says everthing is fine. Heavy on the "says"

McAfee's usually better behaved than others, but it probably has an issue with Flash,as it's perceived to be vulnerable.

Try turning off "Real Time Shields"or something like that.

I cant remember the last time I had trouble with Chat Room and I have Acfee , but no flash. But I dont log in from a different state each night Roll Eyes All who wander are not lost.

I have to switch to dial-up to get on chat room, Barthmobile.com is no problem. My problem is Wild Blue (satellite provider) because when I am in Memphis at son's house I have no problem with chat and don't use dial-up.

My experience has been that the issue is with either the ISP or the router. Here at home, I get bumped if there's no activity for about 5 minutes. Other places, it's solid.

I haven't played with my router's innards after setting up security; that may be correctable.

Jeff & Joy: Have you tried a different web browser - like Firefox or Google Chrome?

Could this problem be related to the version of the Explore software you are using? Is your Explorer up to date?
