RustyChristmas Gifts for the Barth
Since it's "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year", I'm taking the coach in next week for a round of gifts:
1. FluidamprĀ® crankshaft damper (These are also available for other engines like the C5.9)
2. New brake hoses
3. Alcoa alloy wheels
4. Transmission fluid and filter change
5. Engine oil/filter change
6. Repack front wheel bearings
Jim&Barb gifted an axle joint, Kevin gifted a P/S pump rebuild, and Nick gifted his GMC Canyon TOAD a transmission rebuild. Anyone else getting getting his her coach something nice for the holidays?

If shopping goes well I am looking for an input pressure reduction valve for use on the inlet side of the garden hose connection when hooked up at campsites.
Get the good one made of brass with a 90 connection ( I think Watts makes one). The plastic ones for $5 or so reduce pressure but it may be reduced so low that your flow will be discouraging. Ho Ho Ho

Tom and JulieBefore you do that be aware that Barth already installed a pressure valve in the Regencies on the city water intake. If you remove the chrome unit and look you can see if it is in yours. These are available in boat stores.
For ours we are installing air shocks on our quiet generator to eliminate any vibration being transmitted to the frame and then to the inside. (we can hear the humm of the generator inside the coach). Also replaced the booster pump that Kevin helped me find and completed a rework of the HWH leveler actuators. Made a new polished stainless exhaust tip to replace the old pitted chrome one that was original. Getting ready for Milford!

Great Barth minds think alike! Found one at Home Depot, but I will check with Trumbull Plumbing Supply first. It was $67+tax for Ohio at 7%.

Danny ZI'm giving the Euro a parking place for another year. She seems to like hers, but is always ready to leave it at the turn of a key.

Jim and TereI'm giving the '93 Breakaway a new owner

. Only problem is, the 'new owner' doesn't know they are the new owner yet. For that matter, neither do I. But I know, whoever it is, will be nice to her/it/him/whatever

At 15K,its a gift.
Jim

Deb&Eds38The Monarch got a new air brake system for the TOAD plus a tank of fuel.
DBarth get's a long winter nap. Of course I replaced the carpet and laminate floor before bedtime. I know DBarth would rather stay awake and moving. But I have not won the lottery and continue to work to support myself.

Gary CarterThis is to Kevin and all other thinking of installing a RO unit. 50 pounds may not be enough pressure. At best just marginal. You are better off fixing the leak.
Because of the large use of water, most RVers run the membrane discharge line back into the fresh water tank.
BTW I have been using RO units in RVs for 20 plus years.

TonkaHi Everyone,
Tonka was a very good Barth this year. No bundles of sticks or lumps of coal for this RV.
Full service with shiny new filters for the Cummins and the diesel genset, a nice new channel plate, filters and TranSynd for the Allison, and five months snuggled away in a nice clean and dry one room RV country cottage dreaming of next spring.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Tom and JulieHumm, since when is a transfusion(oil, etc) considered a "gift"? Hopefully your Barth will get something extravagant that is not a necessity, and you and yours all have a healthy, happy, and joyous Christmas and New Year.
