Planning Alaska next year, the Alcan up and the Stewart Cassiar highway down.
That was supposed to happen this year but had back surgery instead

Alaska is reason we have the Barth. We had a 43' Newell but to big for the trip. We left AZ in early April to just N of LA and caught highway 101 (I think) witch is on the coast line. Spent the next month getting to the ferry to Vancuver Island. Anyway we went by ferry with many stops to and in Alaska and left Alaska in August. One the reasons for the 30' Barth is didn't want to take a toad as it would seldom be unhook. A friend has gone twice with a 5th wheel and never unhooked it. Anyway have a great trip.

Have done several of those trips, but not in a Barth. Ours turns 50 in November and we don't take her very far.

Oh BTW I heard about a Class C Barth purchased from a Calgary dealership in the 1970s, ordered with an extra fuel tank for doing the Alaska Highway - bit more of an adventure back then, I should think.

Done the Overseas to the keys more times than I can count, and on last summer's trip I made a wrong turn and wound up on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which they don't have listed but should, and went about 60 miles on one of the most scenic drives ever.Lost a few hours but don't regret it for a minute.
