My wife and I are selling our Regency. (We found a larger Regency!). I haven't taken the pictures yet, but here is the link to the FB Marketplace ad we purchased it from - https://www.facebook.com/marke...d&referral_code=null - I'll add pictures soon.

Any questions, my # is 765-490-8457, name is Jon. PLEASE TEXT before calling voice. Smiler

Below is the text of a FB Marketplace ad I'm going to put up soon - but it's offered here first!

-----------------------------------

This will be a long ad, as we want to be sure to cover everything about this coach!

First, a summary:

My wife and I are selling our 1991 Barth Regency 32' motorhome. This is a high end motorhome, built on a Gillig chassis, driven by a 300hp Caterpillar 3208TA (turbocharged, intercooled) engine mated to an Allison 4-speed transmission. These were essentially built to order and there are no two exactly alike. This one is wide body (102" wide), and has the addition of larger salon windows. All cabinetry is real wood, hand built. The galley flooring is also real wood.

It is all-aluminum construction. No delaminating fiberglass to worry about.

It has approximately 158,000 miles on it and the Indiana title is clean and clear and ready to go.

The only reason we are letting this coach go is that we found a too-good-to-pass-up deal on a similar, but larger, coach - and we are being called to longer and longer stays in our coach... so we jumped on that one, hence this one is now for sale.

Everything you will need to use/stay in/possibly even live in this coach is operational. However, it is not perfect; no machine that is 35 years old will be. All of this will be detailed below.

------------
THE GOOD:
------------

House batteries are new as of March or April 2026. They are a pair of 460 amp-hour LIFEPO4 batteries, in parallel, for a total of 920 amp-hours. The onboard converter/charger is NOT a modern lithium-capable charger however, so they will only charge to 80% capacity. The upside of that is that charging to 80% is actually better for lithium batteries.

Chassis/starting batteries are new as of June 2026. Nothing special there, just a pair of maintenance free Group 27 batteries in parallel.

LP regulator is new as of Spring 2026. A nice 225,000 BTU unit. The onboard LP tank is 160 pounds; you will not ever worry about running out of LP.

The suspension airbags are in very good shape, and 2 new spares are included.

Both roof air conditioners are functioning very well, and do not leak.

The range in the galley is a 4 burner LP unit. This is uncommon in coaches; many of them are only a 3 burner unit, many times only a 2 burner one.

The microwave is a convection model, so you can do baking and such with it.

Both furnaces are fully operational. They are LP-fired furnaces.

The water heater is fully functional. LP-fired.

The freshwater pump is nearly new, and produces very good pressure.

The galley sink faucet is brand new, and is a nicer residential model, not a plastic RV one.

The refrigerator functions extremely well. It's a Norcold 3-way model, meaning it can work off AC, DC, or LP which means you can keep it running during travel easily.

The toilet was just serviced - the flush ball drive arm needed replaced and that was done. No worries about the toilet.

The oil pan is brand new as of late 2025. A service provider accidentally damaged the original one, and did the right thing and paid to have it replaced. No worries about an old oil pan rusting out. (This also means that the oil is fresh.)

Being a larger coach, the onboard tanks are quite large - 100 gallons fresh water, 60 (ish) gallons black tank, and 60 (ish) gallons grey tank. Very nice for when you don't want to only stay at campgrounds.

The tank monitors are fully functional! Many times in older RVs (and even new ones) those monitors fail. These have not; they work perfectly.

The power steering belts are brand new.

All 3 roof mounted exhaust fans are fully working. They really do help on hot days by reducing how much the A/Cs need to work.

The main patio awning spring is new as of June 2026. (This is a 19' awning!)

All 4 awnings are Zip Dee awnings. Widely considered the best one can get.

Most of the interior lights have been upgraded to LEDs. Those that aren't, are still older florescent tubes - they would be easy to change out to LED.

-------------------
THE NOT AS GOOD
-------------------

The onboard generator, a Kohler model 9CCO-RV, is not functional. The slip rings are deeply grooved. The likely cause is that the prior owner did an improper brush replacement leading to slip ring wear. The parts to repair this ARE still available (and we can provide web links to the parts), and we have talked with RV Rescue in Elkhart, IN and they are completely confident they can bring it back to full operational status. This generator only has around 700 hours on it, so it has tons of life left once that repair is done. To compensate for this, we will include a portable WEN 3600 watt inverter generator. It's a dual fuel model which can run off either gasoline or LP. With the coach's onboard 160 pound LP tank it could run for a LONG time. It will easily fit in one of the external bays for storage. (DO NOT RUN IT in the bay though!)

The high coolant temp warning light is inoperative. A common issue on older coaches. The part to repair it could not be found easily. HOWEVER, the coach does of course have a temp gauge, and honestly, by the time the warning light comes on, you're in trouble anyhow. You really do need to watch gauges when driving these things.

The fuel gauge is partially inoperative. Also a common issue on older coaches. It will show about half full when the tank is full. This coach has a 100 gallon diesel tank and there's no way you're going to drive 100 gallons worth in a single day anyhow. Trip odometer usage is the best way to manage fuel. (Though, the gauge does track down as you use fuel, it merely "starts" at showing half full when the tank is actually full.)

The speedometer will sometimes bounce around a bit and then settle. It is completely accurate when it settles though; verified with GPS. You're probably going to be driving with an RV GPS anyway, and all of them have a speedometer. Also, it's a 26,000 pound, 32 foot long motorhome... Speeding is essentially impossible anyhow. Wink

All 6 tires are old. Tread and sidewalls are good however, and they are of course truck/bus tires and most people go 10+ years on them. We just didn't want anyone to think they're getting near-new tires with the coach.

The passenger side (air-operated, pantograph style) windshield wiper doesn't track perfectly. It works, but doesn't always track correctly. The driver side one works perfectly however, and this is a flat nose bus chassis (meaning the windshields are HUGE) - many people don't even use the passenger side wiper.

All 4 of the awning's fabric could use a good cleaning. They are all nicely color-matched to the coach however.

The interior is the original. This is a 1991 coach so that is a completely subjective call - you either like it or you don't. The cabinetry is real wood however. Smiler The interior is in very, very good shape, though. And it does look (subjectively) good with the wood cabinetry.

You will probably want to re-cover the inside of the door. RVs are used outdoors, and the door was likely left open in rain before, so the inside covering is separating at the bottom, so you might want to re-cover it. (Or re-glue it down.)

Paint is not perfect. It's 35 years old. Smiler

---------------------------
INCLUDED WITH THE SALE
---------------------------

WEN 3600 watt portable duel fuel inverter generator. This is new as of Spring 2026. It's a sound-deadened model - very quiet for a portable generator.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar, so you can tow your car along with you. Just install a Roadmaster tow bar base plate on your TOAD and you're good to go. We tow a 2022 Ford Maverick hybrid and can't even tell it's back there; the rig will handle whatever you want to tow.

Many spare parts including 2 main engine air filters (these are around $90 a piece; nice to have spares), several other filters, 2 new suspension airbags (these are very expensive!), 4 AX72 belts for the power steering pump - they're used in pairs, so 2 change-outs worth, lots of miscellaneous bulbs and such. Really too much to list here.

All of the original documentation, including the original build sheet/invoice (this coach was $225,000 in 1991!), full owner's and service manuals for the chassis, engine, transmission, and onboard generator, and most of the appliances (refrigerator and such).

All you need to set up camp: water hoses and a new pressure regulator, shore power extension and adapters (coach has 50 amp service, adapter down to 30 amp is included), black tank dump hose, and so on.

In summary, this coach is in honestly amazing condition for its age, and we get comments everywhere we go (Wow! That's a cool RV!). It's ready to go, today, especially if your use case is "only" camping. If you are planning to part- or full-time, you may want to make some upgrades and such, but many people would probably just start using it and make changes as they go. We were planning to, but found a larger coach at a crazy good price... so we jumped on it.
