89 Regency 8.3 Spartan **Not for sale**
**No longer for sale** Thank you for your interest - see follow up in thread.

Data Tag: 8903-0117-34RDS-C1. Used to be owned by Charlie, and changed hands to another couple in MI. I bought it from them, started working on it and put it in covered storage.

89 Regency 34 side bath located in southern AZ (Ajo) in driveaway condition. It is a project rig and priced accordingly. Just drove it back home from Oregon towing a Jeep in September and it did great.

Spartan chassis
8.3 Cummins

Newer batteries
Newer Tires (less than 5 years old/1500 miles)
Fluids

I have both AC units (not sure if they are working-we removed to prep solar/mini split). Has front cabinets (currently removed in photos). No roof leaks. Awnings good.

Hello,

In its current condition, do you think it’s capable of making the drive from Arizona to Florida? My wife and I are looking to move from a 5th wheel to a Motorhome and I love the look of a Barth. Thanks, Ben

I would bet it would make the trip just fine given that in September he drove it from Oregon to Arizona . Give it a good going over before the trip and it should be fine .that is an excellent engine and transmission setup . I drove a Bluebird on that chassis for 5 years . Fairly easy to work on and very dependable .

This time of year is a great time for that trip if the ac units are not operational .

I really appreciate all the interest, conversations, and encouragement from everyone here. After a lot of thought (and maybe a little soul-searching), we’ve decided to keep Bobb — the Big Old Blue Bus lives on.

The ACs are back on the coach and running strong, and we’re getting ready to point him toward the PNW for the summer to escape the Arizona heat. Feels right to keep the adventure rolling.

We’ll share updates along the way as we keep on trucking. Happy to be a part of this community!!

Disappointing...I should have called you a few days ago. Congrats on keeping Bobb. I'll keep my eyes on the lookout for another Barth in my price range.

Nothing wrong with changing your mind . The wonderful couple that had ours originally decided not to sell , but several months later told me to come get it . We are doing our best to give it a good home . It's been a great coach that was very well taken care of . Hopefully before too long we can get back up there and visit with them . There is another Breakaway for sale on the forum . It's more expensive , but it is ready to go .

I'm thinking of selling our '92 Barth Breakaway. Has had an engine upgrade to about 300hp and an Allison 2001 transmission installed. Price would be about $30k.
