We rode that thing for years... we were in the local newspapers and many people stopped us to get pics next to it. Here is one of the newspaper images from 82 showing it at 6'-6½". Paul McCartney was on the ground for this one. Here are the specs... And yes, we could get on this thing without help or a ladder and the kickstand was functional. Neither one of us ever fell off.
