I just wondering if anyone has the part number for the license plate light cover. Somehow ours has gone missing. For a 1992 Breakaway.

Is it kind-of an oval / space-ship-like looking kinda thingy???

The numbers on mine are:

KD 540 DOT
SAE LPC 82

...I actually found this product on-line while searching for BUS and TRUCK lighting, but I'm not certain which site it was. You would probably have to purchase a whole new light, but as I recall, it was not very costly.

You might want to consider just replacing the entire unit, as there are plenty of options out-there, including LED.

Mine is just riveted to the rear, diesel compartment louvers [with 4 rivets], along with the actual license-plate bracket.

If I find that exact same light-unit, you'll be the first to know.
