GunnerHWH levelers
For the first time ever, I plan to add fluid to my HWH hydraulic levelers. In my carefully preserved (?) large volume of charts, diagrams, specs, etc. the HWH sheet is nowhere to be found. Question: What
fluid (Dexron, etc.) does HWH use? Thanks.

Bill N.Y.I saw two Barth's with the electric pump/motor setup mounted behind the front bumper mid section about a foot back. It was a little on the low side and both units appeared to have been struck (dented) because they were mounted pretty low.
I would think hydraulic or transmission fluid would be good bets for you. If you plan on using it in cold climates flush it and put in a synthetic fluid for colder climates. We use it on liftgate motors in the northeast.

olroyThe HWH manual says NEVER use brake fluid or hydraulic jack fluid. Dexron II is OK.

Bill N.Y.NEVER ever use brake fluid!
The PDF file for HWH Fluid is here. It shows it to be a hydraulic fluid with the same characteristics as the synthetic hydraulic fluid we use in the liftgate motors.
The PDF file and it is made by Conoco.
There website is
HWHcorp.com they have schematics and diagnostic help on there site. Email support is also there.
