Moonbeam-ExpressThis is putting me in my place!
Next time I complain about the complexity of putting in a replacement water pump or doing an oil change, I'll think of Uwe Wulf who built this car and realize what a whiner I am!
Watch the video at the end...

Jim & BarbCorey,
I have to agree but my true feelings are what a waste of an aircraft engine. It sure would have been nice to see it in an aircraft or maybe ,here in florida, a nice airboat.
That size radial in a Storch would really lift it off the ground.

The thing that amazes me is the video on how he built the tranny from scratch, that is art work

Jim & BarbCorey,
It is amazing to watch a craftsman like that make something from scratch.
I had a friend that was a tool & die maker and it was something to watch him create and then re-create something. He could duplicate anything in metal. He built an aircraft and did almost all the metal work in it from a blueprint and not a kit.
I can't believe how much I miss my plane. I am thinking of doing a homebuilt this time so I can do my own annual & maintenance.
