Help needed installing new inteli-power converter
Just bought an Inteli-Power PD280 converter and am installing now. I notice that it has 2 pos and 2 neg output terminals so curious if any one has wired one set to the coach bats and the other to the chassis bats? It would be nice to also charge the chassis bats especially during the downtime periods. I'm wired directly to the coach bats from old converter and would like to connect to the chassis bats right at the cut-over relay to avoid another connection at battery terminals. Any thoughts on this?

Not a good idea to wire the coach and chassis batteries together at the converter. By doing that, they'll always be in parallel, defeating all the wiring and gadgets that isolate them.

If you wish to charge the chassis batteries from the converter, run the converter output to another changeover switch (locking relay), and select the output manually.

Yes this Bob Orr is "the real" Bob Orr, but you must be asking about the Hockey player who's wife is named Peggy and they celebrated their 30th Wedding Aniversary in 2003.
