Some coaches, mainly the larger ones, have a combiner button that will tie the coach batteries into the starting batteries. It should be clearly marked on the dash if you have this feature.

Mine has that. Marked "Aux Start." It is a momentary rocker.

Bill, thanks. I didn't know what that switch was. I'm guessing you press the switch while cranking the engine?

I took a piece of battery cable about 12 inches long and put on a couple of small battery charger clips on each end.

When my coach is parked, I run this jumper from the engine battery to coach batteries (in the battery compartment).

This keeps the engine battery charged along with the coach batteries.
