Bill GWater Pump Runs Constantly
Hi all,
The electric valve that controls the auto fill function appears to no longer completely seal. I have a shutoff installed just before this valve and when I turned it off the pump pressurized and shut off. Any suggestions on repairs, or is replacement in order. If replacing is necessary, where can I get one?

Bill,
It is a fuel valve, but I have not found one for sale. I happen to have my spare, in the fact I used to put them in my cars, and have a spare left over from years ago.

bill hIf it is limed up, vinegar could free it up. Try cycling it with vinegar in the line.

Bill GBill H,
In my case, it is very easy to remove. I am going to take it apart and check out the problem more closely. It may have frozen a bit this winter as I don't think any antifreeze got into it.
