Richard_MuiseBipolar refrigerator
My fridge runs great on 120 but when I run it on propane, the freezer goes to 30 degrees and things like ice cream get soupy. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Duane88About all there is to do is more or less heat, pull the nozzle off the propane flame end , clean it make sure there is no damage, hope for the best. I am not sure what the pressure should be but might be in your manual, check that.

KevinRichard, Duane is correct. When I had the refrigerator installed in Shipshewana, Glenn the owner recalibrated the propane feed on my Barth with a kitchen burner on. Glenn told the propane drop would cause the temperature in the unit to rise. My old refrigerator also had a flame regulator right on the valve. Yours may also have a little thumb screw right on the valve. You can adjust the flame there also if you find there is a thumb screw.

Danny ZAnother thing it could be is a dirty flue. It can be cleaned from the roof. I'm sure there is a You Tube on how to go about it.
