Has anyone ever tapped into the gen set to run a welder? My welder takes 25 amps of 220 to run it. It looks like I could undo the wiring to the coach and tap into the connections with my welder cord. I have to move my hanger and I need to weld some supports inside the building before I try and lift it with the crane.

I guess if I could afford a HANGER I would call for a PORTABLE, on the truck welder to make a visit. But if it is going to take some time to fabricate between welds then using your own welder makes good sense. You could of course rent a portable gen and not risk harming your own. Like ron says, DON'T LET THE MAGIC SMOKE OUT.
