BonesRear View Mirror Mounting Shoe?
Does anyone else have a rear view mirror mounting shoe thingy glued to their windshield? It has been bugging me ever since I brought my Barth home.
It isn't blocking my view but I would like to remove it. What is the best way, would acetone do the job? With my luck if I tried to pop it off the glass would break.

Moonbeam-ExpressDon't even bother trying to get the thingee off. I've taken chunks right out of the glass trying to remove one due to installing it upside down
Instead, consider mounting a mirror to see back into the rig or how about a compass/temp mirror? You could also get creative and mount something over it like a standard small compass.

I agree... And the heavier the better..... That way once you get used to it and start to like it there then it will fall off.... When that happens remember this day....
