Cat Motor performance upgrades..
Saw this on IRV2 and wondered if anyone was familiar with the products..

1991 early XL-style (maybe 1 of 2?) Breakaway... but prior to that actual (XL) designation...

Mike if you are looking to get more power out of your 3208, consider the harder you work the Caterpillar 3208 motor the faster it wears out. I did not notice anything going back to 1990 model 3208 Caterpillar engines anyway.

Maybe better mileage...

As a side note, I talked to the other early breakaway XL style owner ( coach #9008 3687 ) who said his ran out at 130K and he had it either rebuilt or new 3208 installed, with sleeves .. Never heard of a 3208 w/ sleeves but he assured me it was done..

Something shortened the life of the 3208 caterpillar that only went 130,000. Mine Caterpillar has 130,000 on it now. I am hoping it is not worn out already. Check out Ray's post about his friend.
