1997 36’ Monarch airbag and leveling valve numbers
Both parts have been discontinued by the oem, the airbag numbers are (front) 0492-DD1). (Rear) 1919-DD4-001AM ). You can use these numbers to cross reference for other makes that replaced the oem bags. I haven’t fully checked this out yet for what availability exists.

The leveling valves (ride well 7423) isn’t available from oem either but can be cross referenced as well.

Couple of questions,, have any of you done this with the air bags and if so what brand part# did you use and rough price?

On the leveling valves, is the dump for the leveling jacks connected to that leveling valves or does it use a separate dump?

Steve Vw had listed leveling valves he used successfully but didn’t mention this aspect.

I called spartan but the prices just seem to high to me on the bags when road tractor applications cost 2/3 less. I don’t mind paying fair prices but it seems everything is inflated to the max at every turn. Part of my “cheapness” is principle and part is necessity.

Haldex Height Control Valve -#90054007
This is the original OEM height sensing valve, I have not had good luck with the Chinese knock off, Automann.

Spartan parts department gave me the manufacturer’s part number for the air springs and I ordered them from a truck parts wholesaler. If that doesn’t work for you then remove a front and rear unit, if the part number sticker is visible, use that or bring them to a parts store and they can cross them. I changed ours at 17-years old, they are now 15-years old.

Good luck

The air bleed solenoid is just a simple 12v DC, 1/4”NPT, valve that is used for many purposes. It is connected inline between the height sensing valve and air spring. Very easy to source.

Good luck
