tom taylorbroken shock
I have a neighbor who does a good job at everything I pay him for. Among other things, had him lube the fittings under neath. Front stabilizer bar is missing its groumets. RR Koni shock is broken. Have not idea when or how. Got to get on phone with Gillig to see what shocks I need. I do not know how long they have been on the Barth so plan to replace both back shocks again with Koni.

Tom and JulieThe Gillig bushings in the front sway bar squeeze out after a short time. I used large washers and stainless steel hose screw clamps on each side of the mount bushing and that stopped the problem. You can also get more exotic and do a few welds just to creat a shoulder at each end of the bushing.

tom taylorThanks gentlemen. Do you go to Gillig to get parts? Where I live in S GA if I said Gillig, they would say Mickey.

Tom and JulieCall Energy Suspension at 888-913-6374 with the diameter of the bar and the width of the mount and they will make them cheaper than Gillig sells the rubber ones.

tom taylorI called Gillig and the parts man says they did not show a sway bar on my VIN. That's strange.
So, I called Energy Suspension. They only showed a 1 5/8 inch sway bar. I have measured twice using both the circumference and that divided by Pi and eyeballing a straight edge. The first man I talked to said they do not sell retail and I gather they do not custom make them. So, still working on this one.
