The switch on the vent fan that is in front of the fridge is wasted. Anybody got a hint where to find a replacement? I will kludge a 3 speed if I have to, but it would be nice to have a new one similar to the old one.

What does this switch control? Refrigerator, Roof A/C, ceiling ventfan?

it's the main vent for the corridor - the unit is Kool-a-matic but they went out of business. I have found a $40 switch that might do but I don't know how much max amps I need - it doesn't show on anything.

Arent these swithes a standard item at the local r.v. stores? I had to repair my hydrolic jacks earlier this season and I asked them to replace my switch (which was also broken), and they had them on the shelf. I don't even remember what they charged but I bet it was under 20 bucks. The place is called Palco...they have been in Roseville, Mi. forever (1-586-777-3010). I will call them tomorrow morning and get back to ya. If you beat me to it and call him first, don't be alarmed at what a jerk he comes across as. He is an honest man and will not do you wrong but I always get the feeling like he has a chip on his shoulder. Violence
