kc_rustyAC Drain
On my 88 barth, the front AC seems to drain the water down the drivers window. After reading posts on other forums, they talk about a drain tube and how its probably clogged. Do the Barths have this drain tube and where might it be located or is it supposed to drain on the roof? and is the same true for the rear unit?

<Schrimsher79barth>My 79 does not have a drain tube nor did the new Coleman 15K A/C unit that I recently installed. Once thing I do know, all Coleman A/C units is that they require the front to be "slightly" higher when operating or damage could occur. So.... You may want to ensure that the water drains to the rear.

davebowersMine does the same. I too try to have the front a little higher so it doesn't drip on the front window. I think it kind of leaves a deposit that is hard to clean off.
There was for sale (secondary market) at one time a tray that your you attached under your AC and then you could direct the condensation. However, I felt that this would be a bummer if for some reason the tube got plugged then you would have a lot of water in the middle of the living room floor.
This is just one of the trials of RV ownership..
