The generator slide (out front) has a problem. When I try to actuate the drive it justs clicks as though the gears are not fully meshing. If I go under the coach, remove the drive, turn the acme screw shaft a turn, replace the drive and then try it, it works.
I took the drive out and removed the gear cover. The spline on the shaft of the motor appears to be worn. The only markings on it are:
PN 17860 HI-LINE
Does anyone have any information on these drives?

Also, the big pins inside the bumper sides are slightly out of alignment with the square tubes they slide into. Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, how can the alignment be adjusted?

Any, and all, suggestions, tips, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

The pin is mounted to a plate held by the outer bumper bolts. You can loosen the bolts and move the pin up or down to mate properly. Squeeze a generous amount of lubriplate or water resistant grease into the square tube and it will mate better. I had the motor rebuilt by a generator/starter shop and they replaced the drive wheel.

I removed the drive unit from my coach and took it into Eagle's Pride at The Great Outdoors here in Titusville, FL. Mike at EP took the gearing apart a little further than I had and showed me that it has a clutch assembly within it. He took it into the shop and tightened it up, put in some lubricant and reassembled it. When I reinstalled it the unit now works as it should with no clicking. The charge for this was much less than a new unit would have been, had I been able to find one.
