The single pane windows on my Breakaway seem similar to yours. I've noticed that some take their windows out, seal the opening with butyl tape and re-install the windows. I'v also caulked around the top and sides of a few of the windows. Seems to work fine, but the water from rain will stay in the tracks until they have a chance to drain out the weep holes. The double pane Peninsula windows don't seem to be prone to leaking.

I am in the process of resealing all my windows too and have completed three thus far. I has also noticed the hard rubber seal, outside around the window with about a half inch gap at the bottom. I was thinking about sealing it up too but... maybe it was designed that way for a purpose. Also, the old black seal I removed from the coach/window interface is a lot thicker than the 1/8 thick butyl tape. I am hoping that the butyl take will do the job.

I was at a window place last week. The gap is not intentional. The stuff shrinks over time and creates pulling away at the corners and gaps where the ends meet. At least that's what the expert told me.
