Shadydogheating system
Don't know a thing about heating system. Have an '89 Barth. Can anyone help? Its getting cold.

Steve VWMore info would be helpful… is the 89 a gasser, Breakaway or Regency? All have different heating systems.

DoormanMost likely you have an Atwood or Suburban furnace. The Atwood will have access cover from outside coach. The Suburban needs accessed from the inside. If you do search in this forum there is info on both.

Fred & CindyWe plug in two infrared heaters. Works very well. We rarely use our propane heaters, except while driving in cold weather.

Does it work? The propane valve and leak detector have to be on. The switch on the thermostat must be on. Set the 'stat to a high temp. The blower should come on, followed a few seconds later by ignition.
