The coach we just purchased (yet to pick up) is missing its patio awning. The seller knows of a place near his home where's there a used 24' w/installation for 1k. Not sure if that's a great deal or not. I've been surfing this morning with not much luck. I would like a 24' metal wrap w/acylic fabric. Having a hard time finding a place that has them that long. Not being that familiar with the barth, I don't know what time of hardware(arms, etc) that required. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Most of these rigs came with Zip-Dee acrylic awnings, with a metal wrap. They're good, though pricey. Some other brands equal them in quality, and there are some awnings on the market today, that extend and retract with power. As in many things, you gets what you pays for.

My rig came with a 22' patio awning, but no window awnings I added them last year, also Zip-Dee.

My 2003 ZipDee price list shows their largest patio awning at 23'. It was $1,351.00 with bright chrome universal hardware, and $1,213.00 with satin finish hardware. That's over the counter, not installed. Prices are probably higher today.

Their phone number last year, was 1-800-338-BEST

If the awning is metal wrapped, it sounds like a good deal. If not, it would depend on its age and sun exposure.

Thanks everyone. We will most likely go with the used one. For now at least.
