Water Heater parts for 1967 Barth 24' travel trailer
Hi! We have aquired a 24' 1967 Barth travel trailer. We need a water heater gas burner for the unit. Have been to three or four RV dealers and none of the burners will seem to fit. Any idea where we can find parts for our 1967 Barth????? This is the burner/valve which heats the hot water holding tank.

Hi Sandee,

And welcome to the website. I agree with Bill. I would look for the manufacturer and see if it is still available. If not, perhaps you can retrofit a newer model water heater.

Thanks for the replies. However, with the Barth being so old, no booklets were available and the heater and parts are rusted. We are unable to see any name or model on the waterheater. It seems the new water heater burners at RV stores are bigger than space allows. We have taken the old burner with us to compare. I was hoping Barth would have some kind of record of heaters used in the past, or Barth itself, would have parts for their trailers. It seems they built their trailers too well. It hold up and last forever!

The burner on my '85 Regal is just a piece of bent thin wall tubing with some mounting tabs welded to it. If this is the same basic shape of yours, I'd try a muffler shop or sheet metal fabrication shop to see if they can make you one.

Thanks for the info. We ended up buying a part that can be made to fit. Hubby is working on it now. Appreciate the help.
