kc_rustyNo electricity
Son took my rig to the park today. Was running on the generator and all was well. After connectingto a 30A service box - no juice in the coach. On the 33' regal - where is the transfer relay located. I'm betting this is the problem but how do I determine if it is and how do I fix it?
thanks

Barths can me different, but my Regal has no transfer relay. It does have a rotary transfer switch under a false floor in a closet on the driver's side. It is accessable either by opening the little door under the closet or lifting up the false floor of the closet. The fuses and converter are there, too.
The transfer relay on my Regal is behind the main fuse panel. It is a black box about the size of a thin toaster. It has the large 50 amp black shore power cable going into it.

kc_rustyUPDATE --- went to the park this afternoon, disconnected the AC cables - checked the voltage all seemed ok. Son had connected the long 50A cable to a 30/50A dogbone and the connected the dogbone to a 30' 30A cable I carry and plugged these three cables together. I renoved the 30' 30A cable and plugged the dogbone into the power pole abd when I connected the 50A connector to the rv, I heard the xfer switch pickup. All was well again -cranked on both 15k A/C units and waited for the cooldown.. Maybe I have a bad 30' cable - will troubleshht that one later
