Fuel leak
I've got a fuel leak, seems to spew more when idle. I just need to know what the part is called so I can replace it myself... Any suggestions for replacement procedure would be welcome as well.

Welcome to the site. Thumbs Up

You will get a better answer if you ask a better question.

Are we talking gas or diesel? Where is the part located? What year? Carbureted or fuel injected? Is it on a Barth?

That said, it looks like a Holley fuel pressure regulator, used on some carbureted Regals, usually mounted in the right frame above the wheel?

Try this:

Install into fuel lines, adjust for 4-6 psi. (Assuming you have a carburetor system)

Yes, good guess, Barth regal, 1987, gasoline, Chevy 450. Mounted where you described.

Thanx.

They only used this system a few years on the GM P3X chassis. 86-89 or so. You will have a high pressure electric fuel pump in the tank with a high pressure hose to the fuel regulator you have shown. The new one that I got from Holley was chromed and had 2 outlets. You will have to plug 1 of them. I used my 2nd outlet to run a line to the rear of the coach for filling gas cans for dirt bikes, and a place to hook up pressure gauge. Mine was a PITA to replace as my leveler hyd. hoses ran over it. Had to drop gas tank to replace. The diaphragm cracks and causes fuel from the electric pump to spray fuel everywhere. Looks like you may be able to replace yours without dropping the tank.

Yeah, just got the regulator, thanks for the suggestion, I think I might do the same for the additional outlet!
