On my 1985 Regal, the previous owner put on the Ellis Wide Wheels. So I use a 33x12.5R16.5 tire. I am getting nervous because Ellis is out of business and these tires are special order. To change back, what do I ask for as far as a wheel is concerned, and I understand tires are better ride-wise than they were when the previous owner put these special wheels on.

What wheels are on the back?

Hey Dave, I've got the ellis wide wheels on my '87. I just replaced the tires last year. They weren't hard to find and the brand name I got is Wild Country. Not sure who makes them, but they are performing great. I'd stick with widies.
