In my ongoing quest to build the perfect RV, I’ve decided to remove a fully functional Onan 4000 Emerald Plus generator. Given the way we travel, we don’t need such a large unit and could benefit from the extra storage space instead. I plan to replace it with a smaller generator, like the Honda 2200i, for occasional or emergency use.
This Onan generator was serviced last May, and I run it monthly to keep it in top condition—it works flawlessly, and I even have a video to demonstrate its performance. It will be available this spring, Wisconsin weather permitting, when I resume my projects. I am willing to sell it at considerable discount to this community before I list it on FB Marketplace or eBay. Please contact me with any questions.
Thanks, Peter

The genset is out and ready for a new home! This is a gas-powered Onan Emerald Plus 4000 with no issues—serviced last summer and last run on 11/12/2024 before I disconnected the fuel line for my EFI project. I have photos and a video of the last run available upon request. Before listing it elsewhere, I’m offering it at a significant discount to a fellow Barth enthusiast. Comparable running units on eBay are going for around $1,000, but I’m offering this one for just $500. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
