LP tank capacity
92 30' Breakaway... Manual says 25 gallon capacity... Ran it empty ... Had it filled ... Took 35 gallons to fill it.... What up ?... Is my tank bigger than specs ?...did they overfill it ?..... Is their meter wrong ?...will I blow up ?... Is this 'normal'?

Mine is 29 gal nominal, 25 gal useful. Forget the manual...there are inaccuracies (My manual says 60 gal fuel tank, but it's 40 gals.)

Our breakaway was built as an all electric coach. The documents show that the propane was not to be hooked up to the refrigerator and it had an electric cook stove. The interesting thing is that it had a propane generator and a 30 pound tank (7 gallons). A previous owner hooked up the propane to the refrigerator and replaced the electric cook top with a gas cooktop. Shows how you could order your way.

My 30' Breakaway has a 45 gallon propane tank. I can only fill it to 80% as per regulations and the blow off valve. Completely out I can only put in about 35 gallons.

I am looking to go diesel with my generator as it really gobbles propane with both A/Cs running and all the electronic stuff I run during the race events.

My Diesel tank is 60 gallons, The gray tank is 45 gallons and the black tank is 25 gallons. Fresh water tank is about 35 gallons. The fresh water tank and black tank are way to small for extended dry camping.

My fuel tank was very hard to completely fill. It would click off at about 40-45 gallons from near empty. Keeping t it, I was able to fill it full with standing fuel in the filler neck. After I re-routed the fill hose to the top of the tank it will click off at about 55 gallons from near empty. Now only takes a few more squirts to bring it completely full.
