I'm buying an 85 Regal with (I believe) stock 19" wheels, and it needs new tires. I'm looking at 225/70s all around, instead of the stock 8Rs, but I'm concerned about the duals touching.

I believe some Barthers run 225/70s on their duals; anyone have any issues with tires being too close?

I'm looking at the Bridgestone M895, which has a good all-weather tread -- something we need here in the Pacific Northwest.

I have 19.5 225 70R on our coach. I think 245s are where you run into problems.
