Danny ZRoof vents
The only small casualty on the Talladega trip was the 2 roof vent covers. These were the 2 crank straight up type and the UV rays turned them to dust with no warning. Both local shops say the Max Airs are simply covers to go over crank ups. I can do both vents with single crank [rear open] and Max air covers for about 60 bucks each.
Any input?

davebowersMaxx Airs are the only way to go. You can't have those crank ups open in the rain with out Maxx Airs or have them open on the road for that matter. I have a Fantistic Fan in my bathroon and I have a Maxx Air over that also. I have to admit though that I have the wrong one. They have a special Maxx Air for the Fantastic Fan.
And, while you are at it, invest in a couple Window Maxx's too.
When you open you windows just a couple inches in the rain and then turn on that Turbo fan, that will be a dream of a breeze. "I think I'll take a nap"

RustyI have a crankup with the MaxxAir in the bathroom - it's fine. I removed the other little fan and the cover and installed a Fantastic Fan 6000 (the one with the rain sensor) - far, far better than the wimpy little fan in the bathroom.
