Medic37winterize gen-set
...with the wicked Minnesota Winter rapidly approaching, there are probably many areas of concern that could use attention.
Is there any specific "winterizing" that needs to be done to a propane fueled gen-set???

Windsor DalrympleIf you are so inclined, change the oil.
I tend to use synthetics in anything that 'means' something to me, or that I want to last. Air cooled engines use their oil to cool, and put a lot of thermal stress on the oil. There are a few premium synthetics I would use, including Mobil One or Castrol. Don't waste $$ on "blends".
Propane fired is the *best* as far as not requiring a monthly run like gasoline powered gennies need, since propane does not turn to varnish.
