Does anyone know mfg and part number. Found the front in past tech. Sitting up here in Alaska with a small problem.

Does this help any?

Caliper Info The caliper number is 242-9002. The number for the pads is ss-7141m.

Now might be a good time for you to update your signature profile. It'll make it easier to figure out what chassis you have.

Thanks for the quick reply. That is the number I had for the front Caliper. Are they the same? I know the pads are different.

Had a difficult trip home from Standish Maine. A break in the power steering line was the problem. Could not find any one up there to fix it so it was a long slow trip home.. Will this be a big problem to fix??

It might be...Did you take the belt off? Are you telling us that you ran it without power steering fluid? You now might have burnt the pump out too. Eeker

Did you try the truckdown.com website?

Went into NAPA up here in AK. Wow, the stores are as big as some warehouses. Anyway all the brake parts were in stock. Turns out the Dana 80 rear axle is used on many medium duty Dodge, Fords and Chevrolets and these brakes are used by both Ford and Chevrolet to this day. Don't ask for Spartan as they just don't know what it is.

Thanks for the follow up - What are the part numbers for the brake shoes and calipers? Did you get anything else besides that?

Jim, we could be of more help if your signature included information identifying your coach.

84 30 tag 502 P30
Shouldn't your coach be identified by it's proper designation of a "P32 Chassis"? Big Grin

P30 v P32 Chassis

Smiler

I say that I have a Pee-something-or-other and let the experts at the parts counters tell me what I have.

They know.

I don't.
