Lance WaltonSpotlight Power
In our Regency the roof mounted spotlight will only go on and operate when the headlights are on. It would be an easy task to switch the spotlight power to a different source, either switched or not.
Is there any compelling reason that the power source is tied to the headlights?
Are all the Barths wired this way?

Mogan DavidI suppose that it would typically be used for docking while headlamps would be already on.
It draws a lot of current. So, I would expect it to be wired to work only when running.
