TonkaIntellitec BD2 Battery Disconnects
Hi everyone,
This post is being set up to simplify searching and posting information about the Intellitec BD2 Battery Disconnect.
This is an electro-magnetic relay battery disconnect used on at least some of the later model coaches.
They inlude a small control panel with toggle switches and red lights and electro-magnetic relays.
In our Monarch the control panel is near the door on the central dash console with two electro-magnetic relays (Coach and Chassis) with two fuses each on the engine compartment wall under the bed on the passenger side.

TonkaMost mechanics would know this but for anyone else working on these relays.
Securing/tightening the battery cables to the terminals requires holding the inner nut with a small thin section open end wrench to keep it from turning and breaking the relay innerds and voiding the warranty while rotating the outer nut to not more than 9 ft lbs.
With all the cables and wires there is not much room to work with.
Thanks,
Wally
