kitemanRegal 31 John Deere power stearing
I just bought this 1998 Regal 31 with the ford 460 . On the way home the power steering decided to quit and I muscled it home . Fluid level is fine and the pump pulley turns . What could be wrong ? Is it common for the actual steering mechanism to fail ?

kitemanJust realized I was looking at the brake pump on top of the engine . I went underneath and the stearing pump belt was off . So maybe I’m closer to a fix

billyt53Glad to see that it will be a simple fix! FYI, John Deere sold that chassis to Oshkosh Chassis who later sold out to Freightliner, in case you need support in the future.
