Mike/Cindi WGray Water toilet flush.. black water..macerator..
all encompassing title, just trying to help out for future searches..

Found this great site:
mod my rv.. and found several ideas that I'm interested in.
1- using gray water to flush your toilet. Looks like a separate pump/lines, system from gray tank to toilet would be needed so no contamination finds its way into the rest of the fresh water system.
here's that thread..
Grey water flush 2- Always thought that when black water tank is being emptied, it would be a second cleanse, after black tank is emptied, to empty gray water into the black tank so you could have a second flush, so to speak..I guess with tank placement in the barth (Gray/Black), the gray isn't 'above' the black so not able to gravity feed it..
3- a macerator..
found these threads using the search function.. looks like newest post is 3 years old..anything new to contribute..?
..just musing..

RustyThe typical RV toilet uses about 1 qt. of water per flush. Any mods like these have, IMHO, the added attraction of one more thing to maintain (or break down).
That said, I did install a bypass valve to recirculate hot water through the FW tank to avoid freezing...

Mike/Cindi Win one of those old links ( 2003) found mention of this site.. thought I'd include it here..
Phred Tinseth's Poop Sheets tip# 3 talks about the current mention..however all info is from 2002, so might not 'stick' anymore..
lots of topic's, good s**t
