I knew that I needed a new windshield washer reservoir, as there's a big hole in it:

I went to remove it, and discovered:

(Red #1) Goes nowhere! I'm assuming it should go to the driver side wiper.

(Red #2) Goes down, through a hole in the center of the frame...and...nowhere! I'm assuming that should go to passenger side wiper.

QUESTIONS:
1. It's seemingly the wrong reservoir. It's mounted on a metal plate with 4 screws. 2 screws on the left mount to the bulkhead(?). Anyone have a shot of something a little more correct? It's tiny, too.

2. The line labeled Red #2 on the photo sure has a long way to go. In correct installations does it go along the front of the radiator at the bottom? It doesn't seem like it should go down through the frame, then up to the wiper. Can I just use one 6ft (approx) piece of tubing?

I might just do the pump and wiper arms at the same time. They are quite rusty and the blades are shot.

Behind the reservoir there are three cut wires:

Anyone know what's NOT working because of this?

Do you have fog lamps? Those wires might have been for that.

Looks like you'll need an overhaul for the washer system. I'd just get a new generic reservoir, wire it in and run new hoses to the wiper arms.

Good luck! Thumbs Up
