How could it possibly leak?
I spend the last couple of days resealing the roof of "Ugly Betty" with two coats of Kool Seal. It took about 2 1/2 gallons. As I was up there for the biggest part of two days, I couldn't help but notice the number of roof penetrations and opportunities to have a leak. Hope I didn't forget any.

I have never had much success with Kool Seal on leaks. It is a decent roof paint, however, and reflects the sun well.

Liquid Roof/Rubber or Dicor has worked very well for me on "penetrations and opportunities".

Ditto El Segundo Bill. In my experience in the desert, Kool Seal dried out over time. It remained flexible, but the surface appeared to craze, and some of the edges lifted. It did reflect the sun well. The "Kool" part of its name is apt, but there are better alternatives for the "Seal," part.

I sealed a serious, but externally invisible roof leak on my Barth by applying the flowable "Dicor" product to every one of those little roof penetrations Nick mentioned. Because of the leak location, I suspected the running lights, but on the theory that more is better, I hit everything I could see.
