Tires sizes for a Regal on a P30 chassis
I need your help. I have a 25’ Regal on a Chevy P30 chassis. I’m trying to determine the correct size tires. And which sizes have people found to be to their liking for ride and handling. Finally, which brands are preferred and why.

I tried searching the sight and was not too successful. The failure to find the information was probably my searching skills.

It’s been a while since I was last on the sight. I’m ready to get back to enjoying the Barth.

I use the SITE Search feature, key word "tires" and find the same question has been asked and answered.

Thank you for the link. But the 19" tires are probable for a Regency and not for a Regal. I think this Regal may have 16" rims. Other thoughts?

So, this time I used the blue Search box with "16" tires"

Any comments out there on brands?

Best advice would come from a person with a chassis similar to yours.

If you had a longer P30 with 19.5s, I would beat the drum and wave the flag for Bridgestones.

I did not like Michelins on my 16" P30 chassis. They were wibbly-wobbly and got bubbly-wubbly.

I'm having a hard time believing an 84 25'er with a front diesel would have 16's. If they are 19.5's I go with the Bridgestones. I run the 19.5 x 8 all around and am very satisfied. If your data tag is in place it should show recommended tire size, although the recommended pressure may not be for current tires. Mine says 65 lbs. but I run 95, and the tires say 110 max.

any comments or thoughts about Yokahama HTS?

The markings on the current Goodyears indicate 7.50-16 LT. I'm assuming that translates to about a LT215/85 R16.

So far the Yokahama's and the BF Goodrich are about the same price.

My '75 has 16" tires, '85 has 19.5".
