What is the best roof top air conditioner? In order to fit a motor home in my 11' garage door, I'm going to have to save some inches so I'm looking at low profile units. Coleman makes one that is 8" tall. Dometic makes a low profile that is 11 1/4" tall. The Coleman would allow me to drop 4" off the height of the motor home. Maybe I could even get a Regency in there.

The Dometic Penguin is the lowest profile Roof A/C that I know of about 3 inches less than the Brisk air or Coleman units. You will pay the price though about 50% more.
