Potty/Toilet Leak

I have a leak that is coming from the junction of a pipe from the bottom of the toilet to the black water holding tank. It is leaking at the tank junction. I can stick my head into the bay on the left hand side and see the pipe, but cannot access it --- as is. It looks like I need to remove the panel where the water faucet etc are mounted to gain access. My question is, how do I move/remove the panel??

There are two rusty bolts with nuts that appear to be holding an angle iron support on each end of the panel. Could these be the starting points?

Any guidance before I start this nightmare will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Are the angle iron supports "supporting" your tank? Actually vertical threaded rods, about 3/8" dia, with the nut below the angle? If so, these support your tank, and the "faceplate" or decorative panel to which the faucet assembly and water fill are mounted sits on the tank top.

The tank outlet pipe is normally a male into the female tank receiver fitting. If it is leaking there it probably means the tank is full and overflowing OR the leak is at one of the fittings above the tank.

Your coach is similar to mine. Remove the water tank fill (a large -ca 4" dia- round chrome piece), held by 3 or 4 screws into the flat face board, and pull it forward then detach the plastic water pipe behind it. One may be able to reach in through the round hole and feel around and/or see the pipe junction. Is the toilet directly overhead? (2) Remove the hot/cold faucet in the same manner. My "faceplate" doesn't seem to be held in place by screws or bolts, but has sealant/caulk above, below, and to the left bulkhead; it is open on the right so I may reach in behind it.
When the devices are removed, cut through the caulk and try pulling the faceplate outboard -toward you, on the outside.
n.b. I haven't taken mine off, so I am not positive about these "instructions" other than the water fill which I replaced this Summer.

I have used photobucket in the past with no problems but now when my post is open, it will not let me "paste" the photobucket link. Maybe I'm doing something wrong??

What you describe, fits my unit, however I can't tell if the angle iron supports the tank --- makes sense though --

The tanks are empty, so it must be the fitting that attaches to the bottom of the toilet.

Thanks. Your process makes sense and I will give it a shot. Mine also has the water fill just above the faucet. Note that I did get a pic in my original post but not with photobucket.
